Sometimes you just need a little chocolate. And a little peanut butter. If you have 10 minutes, you can whip up this little bit of goodness.

Chocolate Peanut Butter

Ingredients

2 cups roasted peanuts

1/2 cup chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet because that's what I had; dark chocolate would work well, too)

Sprinkle of salt

Directions

Put 2 cups of roasted peanuts in a food processor and blend for about 7 minutes, until very smooth. The peanuts will turn into a ball of dough first and then, if you keep going, become smoother and thinner. Add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. Mix again for another 2 minutes. Add a dash of salt and mix again for 30 seconds. Pour into a jar or container to store it and let it cool.

This recipe makes alot and you can easily half the recipe.

This is great to serve with sliced apples and bananas. It would also be great in a sandwich, spread on bread. Or can slice bananas, spread a bit of the Chocolate Peanut Butter on them and freeze them for at least 45 minutes. Little bites of frozen deliciousness!
