Chocolate Banana Milkshake

 

My daughter inspired this one - she wanted something chocolate-y but light. So we played around a bit and ended up with this. It's our new favorite. I hope you'll enjoy it as well!

 

Ingredients

1 ripe banana, cut into chunks

1/2 cup milk (you could also use almond milk)

1/2 Tablespoon honey

3 Tablespoons cocoa powder

1 Tablespoon almond butter (optional, but makes it creamy and filling)

1 1/2 cups ice

 

Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend well. Makes about 2 servings (unless you are like me, and just drink it all for yourself!)
