Caron holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University and was a Vice President at Porter Novelli, the global communications firm, where she developed and implemented food and nutrition behavior change campaigns. Her clients have included private, non-profit and government programs, including: United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Almond Board of California. She is also a contributor to the Huffington Post, where she writes about food and children.

Caron is a mother to two young children and lives with the joys and challenges of feeding young children every day. She lives with her husband and children just outside of Washington, D.C. in Bethesda, MD.

Lysette Cohen, Deputy Director

Lysette Cohen is from London and studied Journalism at the London College of Communications.  She went on to work in Media Relations and Communications, running the Media Relations team for Channel 4 Television, a major British broadcaster, for several years.  Lysette had also spent several years working in Media Relations for the Film and Music industries.

She moved with her husband and two young children to Israel in 2007 and advised Headline Media, a leading communications company, in the establishment of an International PR Division, alongside working with an internet start up and an inspiring charity, Save a Child’s Heart.

Lysette and her family moved to the USA in 2012 and they are living happily in Bethesda, MD. She was immediately surprised by the types and amounts of snack foods being given to her children and other kids, especially in school.   Lysette is well versed in the constant process of thinking about and making healthy fresh food for all her family on a daily basis and is often to be found staring into her fridge wondering what on earth everyone is going to eat.
